UXD: Business goals
Oops. A little behind on posting the homework here. Last week's homework involved auditing competitor products to understand their business goals. Unfortunately, I picked rather simple companies so the business goals were pretty limited. However, I did learn a lot about features and usability, so save that for a future class.
And if you're curious about the methods I used to audit these businesses, look no further than these support pages. You'll notice that this depth of research wasn't as necessary to understand the business goals of relatively simple businesses, but this was necessary to understand more about the tasks, features, and goals of my own feature product.
