Friday Finds Humor

If the past is any indication, getting in the habit of posting weekly will be a challenge. But hey, new year, new you, right? In a effort to be a bit more plugged into our human experience, I'm starting a series called "Friday Finds", featuring whatever goodness I found during the week.

This week, I found a poem. In the aftermath of Apple's iPad Air commercial, I of course sought any other poem just like it. You know, those big heady poems that fill your heart with longing, that cause your feet to twitch, that question every life decision? Yeah, I know, I was thinking it too: barf. There's really only so much hot air you can blow till you realize it's the funny ones that get you:

Hot and Cold

A woman who my mother knows
Came in and took off all her clothes.

Said I, not being very old,
'By golly gosh, you must be cold!'

'No, no!' she cried. 'Indeed I'm not!
I'm feeling devilishly hot!'
